Conceptual Design for the Center for Sustainable Fisheries has been completed. The Center addresses tropical marine life, including research, education and public outreach. Facilities will house marine organisms for aquaculture, experimental fisheries and biomedical research. Laboratory areas will be supported by sophisticated scientific instrumentation. The program includes labs and offices for the Center for Marine and Environmental Analyses, the Center for Sustainable Fisheries, the National Center for Caribbean Coral Reef Research and the National Institutes of Environmental Health Sciences and Seakeeping. The building includes new space for the Invertebrate Museum and a hatchery. CSP is working with all departments to achieve integrated and efficient space utilization. To Print Click Here |
